Strawganic began with a shock.
On a surfing vacation in Bali, co-founder Olivia was paddling against vast amounts of plastic, including thousands of small, colorful drink straws, instead of turquoise blue waves. She was so horrified that her bewilderment lasted for weeks.
The next day, when she was served a drink with a glass drinking straw, it was like a signal to her: the world needs recyclable straws. Our drinking habits need to become more sustainable. To put this mission into action, she launched in 2017 with business partner Adrian Strawganic.
Since then, Strawganic has been the driving force behind plastic-free beverage culture - straw by straw.
